Terms of service
Last updated 11 October 2026
- Will You is for adults 18+, one real account per person.
- Be kind. Harassment, scams, fake profiles and sexual content involving minors get accounts removed.
- You own what you post. We only use it to run Will You.
- Will You Plus renews automatically until you cancel it in Google Play.
Agreeing to these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Jai Prabhu J, who develops and operates Will You ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Will You app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Will You.
Our privacy policy explains how we handle your information, and our child safety standards are part of these terms.
Who can use Will You
- You must be at least 18 years old. We ask for your date of birth when you join, and accounts belonging to anyone under 18 are removed.
- You may have only one account, and it must be your own, with true information about you.
- You can't use Will You if we have previously removed you for breaking these terms.
- You must be able to agree to these terms under the laws that apply to you.
Your account
Keep your login details safe, and tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens on your account. If you sign in with Google, Google's own terms also apply to that sign-in.
Your content
You own what you post: your profile, photos, messages and stickers. To run Will You, you give us permission to store, copy, resize and show your profile content to other users, and to deliver your messages. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for content others have already received and copies we must keep for legal or safety reasons (see the privacy policy).
You are responsible for what you post. Only share content you have the right to share, and never share someone else's private information or images without their permission.
What's not allowed
To keep Will You safe and friendly, you must not:
- Harass, bully, threaten or intimidate anyone, or encourage others to.
- Post hate speech or attack people for who they are.
- Share sexual content involving anyone under 18, in any form. We report this to the authorities.
- Send sexual or violent content to people who haven't asked for it.
- Pretend to be someone else, or create fake or misleading profiles.
- Scam people, ask for money, or advertise and sell things.
- Send spam, or contact people with automated tools, bots or scripts.
- Copy or collect other users' information, or try to get around blocks.
- Break the law, or help or encourage anyone else to.
- Attack, overload or try to break into Will You or its systems, or misuse our reporting tools.
Staying safe
We don't run background checks on users and can't guarantee who anyone is or how they will behave. You are responsible for your interactions with other people, online and in person.
Take your time getting to know someone. If you decide to meet, meet in a public place, tell a friend where you'll be, and never send money to someone you met on Will You.
Reports, blocks and enforcement
You can block anyone and report a profile or chat from inside the app. Chats are end-to-end encrypted, so we can't read them ourselves: we rely on reports, and on what you tell us in them.
If we believe someone has broken these terms, we may remove their content, limit their account, or delete it, with or without warning depending on how serious it is. Where the law requires, we report illegal content to the authorities. If you think we got it wrong, write to us at [email protected].
Will You Plus
Will You Plus is an optional subscription with extra features, such as seeing who liked your profile. Will You itself is free to use.
- Plus is bought and billed through Google Play (or the Apple App Store). The price and billing period are shown before you confirm.
- Your subscription renews automatically at the same price for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Cancel any time in Google Play, under Subscriptions. You keep Plus until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Refunds are handled by the store under its refund policy, except where the law requires otherwise. Deleting your account doesn't cancel a store subscription, so cancel it in the store too.
- We may change Plus features or prices. Price changes apply from your next renewal, after notice.
GIFs, stickers and other services
GIFs and GIPHY stickers come from GIPHY and are provided under GIPHY's terms. Will You also relies on other services, such as Google sign-in and app stores. We aren't responsible for content or services provided by others.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app, or by following the steps on our account deletion page. We may suspend or delete your account if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we stop offering Will You. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as your content permissions for messages already delivered, disclaimers and limits of liability) continue after your account ends.
Changes to Will You and these terms
Will You will keep changing as we add, improve or remove features. If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top, and for important changes we'll let you know before they take effect, for example in the app or by email. If you keep using Will You after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms.
Disclaimers
Will You is provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to keep it running and safe, but we don't promise it will always be available, error-free or secure, or that you will make friends using it. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties not stated in these terms.
Limits of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the behaviour of other users on or off Will You. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Will You Plus in the 12 months before the claim, or ₹1,000, whichever is greater. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you live elsewhere, you may also have rights under your local law that these terms can't take away. Please contact us first: most problems can be solved quickly by email.
