Child safety standards
Last updated 11 October 2026
Will You has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Any content, behaviour or account that sexualises, exploits or endangers children is forbidden.
Adults only
Will You is only for people aged 18 and over. Everyone must enter their date of birth when creating a profile, and people under 18 can't complete sign-up. Accounts we find belong to someone under 18 are removed.
What's not allowed
- Sharing, requesting or linking to sexual content involving anyone under 18, in any form.
- Grooming: contacting or befriending a minor to sexually exploit or abuse them.
- Sexualising minors in text, photos, stickers or profile content.
- Sextortion, trafficking, or any other exploitation of minors.
- Using Will You to arrange contact with a minor for any of these purposes.
How to report
- In the app: open the person's profile, or the menu in your chat with them, and tap Report. Choose "Might be under 18" or the reason that fits, and add any details. You can block them at the same time.
- By email: write to [email protected] with the subject "Child safety report", the person's name as shown in Will You, and what happened. Please don't attach or forward abusive images; describe them instead.
- If a child is in immediate danger, contact local police first. In India you can also report at cybercrime.gov.in or call 1930. Elsewhere you can report to the NCMEC CyberTipline.
What we do
- We review child safety reports as a priority.
- We remove violating content and permanently ban the accounts involved.
- We report apparent child sexual abuse material and exploitation to the relevant authorities, including law enforcement in India and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), as required by law, and we cooperate with their investigations.
- We preserve the information needed to support these reports, as the law allows.
Chats on Will You are end-to-end encrypted, so we can't read private messages. Your report is what lets us act, so include as much detail as you can.
